  My entire family love first baptist church in universal city. They are so kind and welcome you with open arms. They have been there for us through family loss. They have made special trips to the hospital in our times of sickness and need. The church is very giving and they help so many in need, in state and out. They fill this world with so much love.

  I remember going to this church when I was 16 years old. I am catholic however I was introduced to this congregation through an old friend of mine, Billy "William" Hill. I was introduced to numerous of Billy's associated with the church and pastkr David Lindow. Jared and Justin Adams, Bethany Towers, Annie Williams, Tasha Curtain, Amber Crenshaw, Christie Stuebeen, Benjamin Grahams (who moved to D.C.) and Mandy Wilburn. Today marks a special day for me because this was the day that at 16 years old I was evicted and permitted never to return again ti the first baptist church of universal city because I decided it would be impossible for me to "change" my alternative lifestyle - I announced my sexuality to my fellowship weeks prior before attending a youth group seminar. DAVID LINDOW and the above mentioned, at 33 years of my journey through life have I ever felt dead reminiscent of the judgements brought upon me. I've become the man who I am today disregarding the whispers of the wind. May God Bless you ALL and May your children never Ever exlerience the emotikns that today revisits with great servitude.   We as a family love First Baptist of Universal City. It has an awesome kids ministry, adult ministry and teen ministry, and college ministry etc. The people there are very kind, caring, loving, and genuine. The pastor is absolutely awesome. The word of GOD is preached every time. It is a Bible believing, Bible teaching, Bible loving church. It's just AWESOME.
